Make your own canoe paddle! In this all day Saturday workshop, each participant will use hand tools to create their own beautiful, useful, traditional style paddle from a single piece of wood. We will start with a presawn blank and shape the blade, shaft, and grip using a spokeshave and rasps. No experience needed, and all tools and materials are provided. We will complete the project with sanding, and a discussion of finish options.
